As a person with invisible disabilities and neurodivergence, I face numerous challenges (personal and professional). Despite trying multiple systems and supports, I had all but given up on finding affordable and flexible services that cater to my specific needs. A clutter crisis at home led me to reach out to Alison after hearing about her through KC Davis, and I'm so glad I did. From the moment we began our first phone call, Alison's genuine and non-judgmental approach put me at ease. She listened to my goals and challenges and shared her background and expertise without any pressure or judgment. Throughout our sessions, her focused and compassionate approach has helped me make strides in both personal and professional projects. Her expertise in helping people get "unstuck" is a real strength, and together, we've created actionable steps to tackle overwhelming projects. As someone with ADHD and anxiety, I'm all too familiar with the art of avoidance, but Alison's innovative "body doubling" sessions have become a game-changer for me. This affordable and supportive accountability structure has helped me take the necessary interim steps to work towards my goals. Alison is truly a remarkable person, and I feel incredibly fortunate to have found her. I am deeply grateful to be a part of the supportive and inclusive online community she has created, and I am genuinely excited for our work together in the future.Read Less

Alison came to us in a time of crisis when my husband was unable to cope with his mountains of treasures and his anxiety level had reached unmanageable proportions. She met with us, got to know us a bit and the scope of the situation and together we all decided to give it a go. That was 5 and half years ago before dementia tightened its grip. Alison has become an ally in this adventure and meets him where he is—a concept not many can work with—especially when “where he is” can change from one minute to the next. She is able to gauge what he is capable of and work with that, always with the utmost kindness and respect and with the full understanding of his strengths and his limitations. As the disease progresses and his memory fades, Alison has been able to clear out some of the stuff that was being saved “because we might need it someday”. As a child of the holocaust, his need to collect things is almost a life force and one he can neither understand nor control. She respects this need and understands the underlying terror of losing control and gently helps him to let go when he is ready to do so. As she often says, we are his team, and I honestly don’t know how I would cope without her! She is a true kindred spirit.Read Less

I started working with Alison on organizing my home exactly four years ago, in June 2018. I am still working with Alison today, in 2022 and I call it organizing my life. I feel extremely blessed to have met Alison, as I had been looking for a professional organizer for a long time. Alison really listens, she is supportive and empathetic and makes me feel very comfortable. What I appreciate is that she doesn't go by rules, she offers suggestions and then adapts to the person's needs, in this way she is very creative. After every session with Alison, I feel very positive and motivated to continue. Working with her is an educational experience that has enriched my life. I am so grateful to have found Alison!Read Less
